The owner's father purchased this car new and took delivery at the factory in October of 1959. It was originally Silver with red leather and came equipped with Rudge knockoff wheels and one of the first factory camber compensator springs. It is being restored completely as original. Unfortunately, the owner unwittingly first took it to an inferior body/paint shop that did thousands of dollars worth of damage and finished that off with about 2 gallons of rubberized undercoating...Ouch! We have stripped the paint and undercoat and are redoing all the repairs properly. The car will be as good as when Mom and Dad picked it up in Stuttgart in 1959.
